Burgundy L. Olivier, also known as
the "Spinach Lady", is the author
of two cookbooks, namely "I LOVE SPINACH"
and "The World's Smallest Cajun Cookbook" (a Lilliputian-sized
novelty item). Burgundy is a member of the American Business Women's
Association (National) [www.abwa.org],
the "Christian Chefs Fellowship" [www.ChristianChefs.org],
and the American Culinary Federation - New Orleans [www.ACFNO.com].
Since 1989, Olivier has worked as
a Creative Consultant, specializing in corporate events and festivals.
She was also a featured columnist for Acadiana
Woman Magazine with her monthly column, "Dear Burgundy…".

Bio cont'd:
Burgundy created and coordinated
the "Herb Fest of Louisiana", which was held at Acadian Village
in Lafayette, LA. She also taught classes on "Discovering Herbs",
"Touring the New Orleans French Quarter" and "How
To Plan a Wine and Cheese-Tasting Party" at the University
of Louisiana at Lafayette.
She has authored numerous smaller publications,
such as Rose Gardens, Preserving the Memories; Discovering Herbs;
Herb Recipes; and How to Host a Wine and Cheese-Tasting Party,
just to name a few.
Olivier is in popular demand as
a"Culinary Humorist." Her cooking demos have been enjoyed
by thousands at conventions, Expos, summits, conferences, home and garden
shows, fairs and festivals, seminars, etc.
Burgundy is married to Al Olivier,
a New Orleans native (AL OLIVIER
Computer Technology Management); has one son, Marshall and three precious grandsons, Ashton Joseph, Brayden Jude and Clayton Alan.
Her hobbies include cooking, collecting cookbooks and aprons, culinary
research, traveling, herb gardening and creating innovative marketing
and publicity ideas.
With several books currently on the drawing
board, her days are filled with research.
